There are many people in my works. They have no face and no emotion. So I'm not sure they are humans or not. They are very fuzzy beings.I treat plants, insects, shells and all other creatures the same way as humans. Humans' feelings are complicated. We have many kinds of drama every day while living as humans, but I remove the human-like elements such as emotion and drama, in my works. By doing so, the humans in my works are not heavy. In the scenes I draw they are suffering, praying, blessing and dancing. Sometimes the theme can be reincarnation, but there is no seriousness. I want to transform the heaviness of life into something light by looking on humans in the same way as upon insects, plants, stones and so on. I hope my pictures make you feel nostalgic. I hope my works will remind you of your soul of memory.
